The Gold Hill Gold Hill (or Mountin' Mountain) is the Memorial Day antithesis of the Bolder Boulder. This 10K hike began last year in response to the Kenyan Controversy (for you non- locals, last year Bolder Boulder officials denied entry to Kenyan racers; a move which many in the Boulder community felt was not in the spirit of the race). This year the Mountin' Mountain had approximately 42,989 fewer participants than the big race about 4,000 feet below.
